Dr. Lemon continues to distinguish herself in the classroom. The University of Tennessee College of Communication and Information has recognized Professor Lemon’s teaching strengths, honoring her with the 2015 Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award for Excellence in Teaching. Her high course evaluations reflect her commitment to student success and her passion for teaching.

Dr. Lemon currently teaches public relations courses, including public relations writing and public relations campaigns, and Masters and Ph.D. courses as an associate professor at The University of Alabama. Previously, she taught introductory and advanced public relations courses, plus public speaking courses as an instructor at the University of Colorado, Denver. While attending the University of Tennessee, she taught multiple sections of public relations writing, public relations professional development, and introduction to public relations.
